Andrea Louise RiseboroughĀ (born 20 November 1981) is an English actress. She made her film debut with a small part inĀ VenusĀ (2006), and has since appeared in more prominent roles inĀ Brighton RockĀ (2010),Ā W.E.Ā (2011),Ā Shadow DancerĀ (2012),Ā OblivionĀ (2013),Ā BirdmanĀ (2014),Ā Nocturnal AnimalsĀ (2016),Ā Battle of the Sexes,Ā The Death of StalinĀ (both 2017),Ā Mandy,Ā Nancy (both 2018),Ā The Grudge, andĀ PossessorĀ (both 2020). For playing an alcoholic inĀ To LeslieĀ (2022), she was nominated for theĀ Academy Award for Best Actress.

Riseborough was nominated for aĀ BAFTA TVĀ for her portrayal ofĀ Margaret ThatcherĀ in the television filmĀ The Long Walk to FinchleyĀ (2008). She won critical acclaim for her performances in theĀ Channel 4Ā miniseriesĀ The Devil's Whore (2008) andĀ National TreasureĀ (2016), as well as theĀ BBC OneĀ miniseriesĀ The Witness for the ProsecutionĀ (2016).
