Velga VÄ«lipa (1940 ā 2018) was a Latvian film and theatre actress. In cinema, she's best known for her roles in films "Nauris" and "Å Ä·Äps un roze". She also performed at the acclaimed Dailes Theatre and the Youth Theatre.
VÄ«lipa's parents were actress ElvÄ«ra Bramberga and poet PÄvils VÄ«lips. She was married to Latvian actor Edgars LiepiÅÅ” and had two sons.
