Harley Leland RaceĀ is a retired AmericanĀ professional wrestlerĀ and is a current promoter and trainer.Ā During his career as a wrestler, he held theĀ NWA World Heavyweight ChampionshipĀ 8 times, and is considered by many to be the greatest wrestler of all time. He worked for all of the major wrestling promotions, including theĀ National Wrestling AllianceĀ (NWA), theĀ American Wrestling AssociationĀ (AWA), WWE, andĀ World Championship WrestlingĀ (WCW). He was the firstĀ NWA United States Heavyweight Champion, which is now known as the WWE United States Championship. Race is one of six men inducted into each of theĀ WWE Hall of Fame, theĀ WCW Hall of Fame, theĀ Professional Wrestling Hall of FameĀ and theĀ Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame.
