Rhodes grew up in rural Oregon. She is of Norwegian descent and the youngest of seven siblings. She was homeschooled through sixth grade.

Rhodes began working as a stripper at the age of 17. Before doing porn films, she also worked as a nude model. During her later days as a webcam model, she was spotted by an agent. She began her career in the adult film industry in August 2012, shortly after her nineteenth birthday. She shot her first scene with J. Mac for Reality Kings in Miami.
